Alex is a Purple Belt, promoted by Rodrigo Lopes. Some of his accolades include being a finalist at the Brazilian National No-Gi Championship and securing gold at various IBJJF Opens. As a guard player, he specializes in berimbolo, reverse De La Riva, and closed guard, while adding his flair to submission attacks.
